Good onions, and beans

A good year for onions. Havent strung them up yet but they are all dried out and are all good sized, only a few suffered rot.

Considering the very early blight, spuds arent bad either.

Manitou -25kg

Desiree (from saved sed, the source of the blight??! ) 12.6kg

First few Cara – 5.75kg.

Still lots of Cara in the ground.

Peas are all done, they grew well this year – wish I’d sown more.  Beans have also been very good.

Now pulling beetroot, and had a few carrot thinings.

Outdoor toms have blight – will scrap the lot and make some green chutney.

Kale looking good, as are sprouts.  All other brassicas are a disaster.

Courgettes are a bit low yielding this year, and the cucumbers look very poorly. Will aboid the “spacesaver” variety I think.
